Police: Suspect Sought for Assaulting Three Women Over Elmont Parking Spot
The Fifth Squad reports the details of an Assault that occurred at 9:40pm on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in Elmont.
According to Detectives, three female victims became involved in a verbal argument with one male suspect over a parking spot on Sterling Road. The first female victim, 44, began to record the argument with her cellular telephone, at which time the unknown male suspect grabbed the phone out of her hand.
As the incident continued to escalate, the male suspect did punch the second female victim, 39, in the face multiple times causing substantial pain and lacerations to her nose and mouth. As the third female victim, 40, attempted to stop the altercation, the male suspect with a closed fist, struck her in the head several times causing substantial pain and then placed the victim in a chokehold and applied pressure to her neck causing her difficulty breathing.
Victim one was able to retrieve her cellular telephone; the male suspect ran into a rear yard on Sterling Road and then fled the scene in an unknown direction in a white colored 2012 Jeep Wrangler. Female victims two and three were transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment of their injuries.
The suspect is described as a male black, approximately 40 years old, stocky build, approximately 5’10”, a goatee style beard, short black hair, wearing a black sweater, a white colored t-shirt with the words true religion on the front, black colored jeans and black sneakers.
