North Bellmore, NY - May 29, 2015 - The New York State Police is investigating a motorcycle accident that occurred on the Southern State Parkway near exit 25 (Newbridge Road) at 1:15 AM on 5/29/15. Omar Roman, age 36, of Elmont NY, was traveling westbound on a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle at a high rate of speed on the Southern State Parkway near exit 25, when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and struck the center median guide rail. Mr. Roman was ejected from his motorcycle and was pronounced deceased at the accident scene by a Nassau County EMT.
