Rep. Rice to Hold Mobile Office Hours on Sandy Issues in Oceanside, Long Beach & Cedarhurst

Garden City, NY - June 2, 2015 - Staff members from U.S. Representative Kathleen Rice’s office will hold mobile office hours this week in Oceanside, Long Beach and Cedarhurst to offer help to constituents with issues related to superstorm Sandy. On Wednesday in Oceanside and Thursday in Long Beach, Rice’s staff will be joined by attorneys, interns and case managers from the Touro Law Center Disaster Relief Clinic, who will provide Sandy survivors with free legal assistance and information about the newly released claims review process for homeowners whose claims were denied or underpaid. Details about this week’s mobile office hours are below. During the week of June 15th, Rice’s staff will hold mobile office hours to help constituents with issues related to health care and Medicare, and the following week will hold mobile office hours focused on issues affecting veterans and their families.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3RD, 2015 – OCEANSIDE
LOCATION: Oceanside Public Library (30 Davison Avenue, Oceanside, NY 11572)
MORNING HOURS: 9:30-11:30 a.m.
EVENING HOURS: 4:00-7:00 p.m.

THURSDAY, JUNE 4TH, 2015 – LONG BEACH
LOCATION: Long Beach City Hall (1 West Chester Street, Long Beach, NY 11561)
MORNING HOURS: 9:00-11:00 a.m.
EVENING HOURS: 4:00-7:00 p.m.

SUNDAY, JUNE 7TH, 2015 – CEDARHURST
LOCATION: Kulanu Fair at Cedarhurst Park (Cedarhurst Avenue, Cedarhurst, NY 11516)
HOURS: 12:30-3:30 p.m.
