Third Squad Detectives report the arrest of a Uniondale female for an Assault that occurred on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 1:15 am in East Meadow.
According to Detectives, Defendant Tiaira Peavy, 23, of 632 Amsterdam Avenue was transported to Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) located at 2201 Hempstead Turnpike for evaluation.
While the AMT was rendering aid, the defendant became violent and combative and struck the Nassau County Police Medic in the face causing swelling, bruising and substantial pain. Defendant Peavy was placed under arrest. The Police Medic was treated and release from the hospital.
Defendant Tiaira Peavy is charged with Assault 2nd Degree. She was arraigned on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
