Centereach, NY - June 5th, 2014 - The 2nd Annual Centereach Fair will take place starting at the intersection of Mark Tree Road and Middle Country Road. Join the Centereach Civic Association and the Greater Middle Country Chamber of Commerce for a fun-filled family and shopping day with live bands, dance performances, animal shows, kids’ activities, raffles, street and food vendors.
They will also be hosting a food drive (bring a non-perishable item and receive a free raffle ticket) and a blood drive sponsored by Suffolk County Legislators Tom Muratore and John Kennedy and Town of Brookhaven Councilman Kevin LaValle. All blood drive donors will receive 2 free Mets tickets!
The Centereach Fair was a vision of the Centereach Civic Association. Cooperatively with the Middle Country Chamber of Commerce and the Middle Country Children’s Soccer Organization and many other groups and volunteers, their first Centereach Fair took place on June 2nd, 2013. The event started started “small”, bringing in several thousand attendees in its first year. It was so well received by the community, that it was immediately decided that this would be an annual event.
The Centereach Fair is held at the highly visible location of Mark Tree Road, beginning at its intersection with Middle Country Road. This year’s event is anticipated to triple in size over last year and will continue to grow annually.
