The Major Case Bureau are investigating an Assault that occurred on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 4:20 pm in E. Garden City.
According to the Detectives, a female victim, 20, was walking on the second floor of the Roosevelt Field Mall and was struck in the face by a male. After being struck, the victim noticed a knife in the subject’s hand. The subject fled the scene.
The victim suffered a large laceration to her left cheek and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
