AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING An Air Quality Health Advisory remains in effect for the following counties: Nassau and Suffolk. Until 11 PM EDT this evening. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an Air Quality Index value of 100 for the pollutant of ground level ozone. The New York State Department of Health recommends that individuals consider limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity to reduce the risk of adverse health effects. People who may be especially sensitive to the effects of elevated levels of pollutants include the very young, and those with preexisting respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease. Those with symptoms should consider consulting their personal physician. A toll free air quality hotline has been established so New York residents can stay informed on the air quality situation. NCPD reports the arrest of Odeshia Artwell, 23, of Floral Park on Tuesday, June 6 in Uniondale.

Uniondale, NY – June 7, 2017 – The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a woman at 4:15pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in Uniondale.
 
According to Crimes Against Property Squad Detectives, the director of the Marriot Hotel located at 101 James Doolittle Boulevard Uniondale received a call regarding the use of a fraudulent credit card. The police were called to the scene and conducted an investigation that resulted in the arrest of defendant Odeshia Artwell, 23, of Floral Park.  
 
The defendant was located in the room she had rented in the hotel and was also in possession of two forged credit cards and a skimming/reading device.  
 
Defendant Odeshia Artwell is charged with one count of Possession of a Forgery Device and two counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument. Defendant Odeshia Artwell was arraigned on Wednesday, June 07, 2017 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
