Assemblyman Ed Flood (R,C-Port Jefferson) attended an event alongside Sen. Anthony Paulmbo (R,C-New Suffolk), Sen. Dean Murray (R,C-Patchogue), Assemblywoman Jodi Giglio (R,C-Riverhead) and Assemblyman Fred Thiele (D-Sag Harbor) to recognize the valedictorians and salutatorians throughout Suffolk County.

This event was first started by Sen. LaValle and for over 20 years the valedictorians and salutatorians have been honored with a New York state resolution from both the Senate and the Assembly.

“I had the privilege of recognizing these bright and determined students in our community who have already reached such tremendous achievements. Thank you Sen. Palumbo for continuing this tradition and congratulations to all of the students on their accomplishments. I look forward to hearing where your future studies take you,” said Flood.

Assemblyman Ed Flood Represents the 4th Assembly District, which includes parts of Suffolk County, including Brookhaven and the villages of Old Field, Poquott, Belle Terre, Port Jefferson and Lake Grove. For more information, please follow Assemblyman Flood on Facebook.
