East Meadow, NY - June 8, 2015 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano today released a calendar of events for the Nassau County Aquatic Center, located in Eisenhower Park for the months of June and July. The event schedule is as follows:
June 2015
Saturday, June 20, 2015:
• LIAC Summer Classic from 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. Pool open: 6 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. (limited lanes available). Entire pool closes at 7:30 a.m. Gym remains open.
• LIAC Summer Fun from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Middle pool, dive pool, Jacuzzi and sauna closed.
Sunday, June 21, 2015:
• LIAC Summer Classic from 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. Entire pool closed all day. Gym remains open.
• LIAC Summer Fun from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Middle pool, dive pool, Jacuzzi and sauna closed.
Wednesday, June 24, 2015:
LIAC Junior Mets #1 from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. (middle pool, dive pool, Jacuzzi & sauna closed)
Regular Operating Hours. Parking space may be limited.
Saturday, June 27, 2015:
Facility closes at 4 p.m. due to TD Bank Celebrates America Fireworks Show
July 2015

Senior Metropolitan Long Course Championships from 6 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.; 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Pool open from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. only. Gym remains open.
Saturday, July 18, 2015:
Senior Metropolitan Long Course Championships from 6 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.; 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Centrally located in Eisenhower Park on Merrick Avenue in East Meadow, the Nassau County Aquatic Center is one of the premier swimming facilities in the country. Built in 1998 for the Goodwill Games, it serves the general public as well as competitive swimmers. The Aquatic Center regularly hosts college and local high school competitive swimming and diving meets and has hosted scores of Olympians, including Michael Phelps.
