Tom Needham Interviews Congressman Robert Mrazek and Rory Kennedy on the Sounds of Film
Stony Brook, NY - June 8th, 2016 - Congressman Robert Mrazek and director Rory Kennedy will be Tom Needham's special guests on the Sounds of Film this Thursday, June 8th at 6:00 P.M. on WUSB.
Former Long Island Congressman Robert Mrazek is the writer and director of The Congressman, a political satire starring Treat Williams, George Haamilton, Elizabeth Marvel and Ryan Merriman. The film follows Charlie Winsip, a Maine Congressman who has grown disillusioned with politics and corporate lobbyists. Vision Films is set to release the film to all major VOD platforms on June 21st.

Also on the program is Emmy-winning director Rory Kennedy. She will be discussing her documentary Ethel. The film celebrates the remarkable life of the Kennedy matriarch, highlighted by revealing, little-known anecdotes from those who know her best: her family. The film includes rare home movies and photos. Rory Kennedy has directed or produced more than 35 documentaries including the Oscar-nominated "Killing In the Name."
