AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for the following areas: All five boroughs of New York City, and Westchester, Rockland, Nassau, and Suffolk counties. Until 11 PM EDT this evening. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an Air Quality Index value of 100 for the pollutant of Ground Level Ozone. The New York State Department of Health recommends that individuals consider limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity to reduce the risk of adverse health effects. People who may be especially sensitive to the effects of elevated levels of pollutants include the very young, and those with preexisting respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease. Those with symptoms should consider consulting their personal physician. A toll free air quality hotline has been established so New York residents can stay informed on the air quality situation. The Suffolk County Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Medford woman who has been missing for two days.

Update - June 15, 2014 - Sarah P. Goode, 21, of Medford has been identified as the woman who was found in a wooded-area in Medford.

Medford, NY - June 9th, 2014 - The Suffolk County Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Medford woman who has been missing for two days.

The sister of Sarah P. Goode, 21, reported her missing on June 8 after she did not contact family members for approximately two days. Goode’s car, a gray 1999 BMW Model 328i, was found in the Medford area under suspicious circumstances and is being safeguarded by police.

Goode is described as white with a light complexion. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall, 100 pounds, and has long brown hair, brown eyes and a flower tattoo on one foot.

Anyone with information about Sarah P. Goode is asked to call the Sixth Squad or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
