Elmont, NY - JUne 10, 2016 - On Saturday June 11, 2016 the 148th running of the Belmont Stakes will be taking place at Belmont Racetrack located on Hempstead Tpke. in Elmont.
Gates open at 8:30 am and races will be taking place from approximately 11:30 am to 7:00 pm.
Motorists can expect delays on Hempstead Tpke. and surrounding secondary roads throughout the day.
Plainfield Ave will be closed from Hempstead Tpke. to Vanderwater Ave. beginning at 8am to approximately 9pm.
