The first squad is investigating a burglary that occurred on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Baldwin and was reported to police on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 6:20 a.m.
According to detectives, first precinct officers responded to J&E Plumbing, located at 621 Seaman Avenue for a commercial burglary report. Upon arrival, officers learned that an unknown person or persons entered the store by removing sheetrock from an adjacent room that’s under construction. The complainant reported a missing lockbox containing $8,000 USD, multiple credit cards, and two desktop computer towers. The investigation is ongoing.
