Wheatley Heights, NY - June 11, 2015 - Usdan University, the 12th edition of the annual popular and fun one-day adults-only arts camp experience at Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts will be presented on Friday July 17 from 9 AM to 3 PM. Created out of years of requests by alumni and parents to have something for me, too and be 13 years old again, Usdan University features a variety of arts classes and other recreational activities, plus, at the end ice cream and a diploma!

This year's courses include Digital Photography, Painting, Ceramics (Hand Building and Potter¹s Wheel), Broadway Jazz Dance, Musical Theater, Organic Gardening, Cooking ("Street Foods of India," taught by the distinguished organic chef Richard LaMarita of the Natural Gourmet Institute, who studied nutrition and Ayurveda with acclaimed masters Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and Vaidya B. D. Triguna) and Metalsmithing.
The day starts at 9 AM with morning coffee and doughnuts, then class, then a light lunch catered by Panera Bread, and concert in the on-site McKinley Ampitheater. After lunch, participants have a choice of activities such as chorus, nature walk, campus tour, archery and yoga. Tuition is $80 per person, or $150 for two.
Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts is the nation's premier summer arts day camp, on a magnificent 200-acre woodland campus at 185 Colonial Springs Road in Wheatley Heights, Long Island.
