Shirley, NY - June 11, 2015 - Those aged 50 and older looking to reduce points on their license or insurance premium can sign up for a discounted AARP Defensive Driving Course at the Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library (MMSCL) on Saturday, June 20 from 9:30 am to 4 pm. Registration begins on Friday, June 12 at 9 am. Patrons can register in advance and pay the instructor the day of the class. Please make a check or money order payable to AARP. The class costs $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members. Open to all who are 50 and older. Those residing outside of the MMSCL district, must call (631) 399-1511, extension 240, or stop in the library to register.
