Suffolk County Police have arrested a Ronkonkoma woman for robbing a Holbrook business Monday night.
A woman entered Speedway gas station, located at 440 Portion Road, displayed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash from an employee at the counter at approximately 11 p.m. The employee complied and the woman fled the scene on foot. There were no injuries.
The suspect’s image was captured on surveillance video.
Following an investigation, Sixth Squad detectives arrested Anne Brown. Brown, 58, was charged with Robbery 1st Degree. She is scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
