Sag Harbor resident Eric Cohen has once again has qualified for the 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Games. The 60-year-old Long Islander is currently ranked the 5th fittest man in the world in his age group. The 17th annual NOBULL CrossFit Games will be held the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin from August 1 – 6, 2023.
Thousands of CrossFit athletes try to make the international Games each year, and this will be the third time that Eric has made the cut! Cohen, who along with his wife Joyce Shulman co-founded Jetti Fitness and 99 Walks, competed in the 2020 Games taking 3rd place honors in the 55-59 age group, and then competed again in 2021. He did not go last year due to for shoulder surgery, but he’s heading back and fitter than ever.
The competitions incoude everything from weightlifting and running to handstand walking.
Eric Cohen, the co-founder and president of 99 Walks and Jetti Fitness, is an internationally ranked CrossFit athlete and certified trainer.
