The Public Information Office reports the Arrest of an Ossining women for the Assault of an Officer that occurred on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 11:47 PM in Elmont.
According to Officers, units assigned to the UBS Arena located at 2400 Hempstead Turnpike responded for a female who was refusing to leave the premise. After locating defendant Nancy Zhingri, 31, of 2 Cliff Drive, Ossining, New York, she was issued multiple lawful commands to leave the area, in which she refused.
While placing her under arrest, an Officer sustained an injury and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Defendant Nancy Zhingri was also transported to a nearby hospital for an assessment.
Defendant Nancy Zhingri is being charged with Assault 2nd degree and Criminal Trespassing 3rd degree. She will be arraigned on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at First District Court, located at 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
