Here are some Tips to keep your family safe and your property protected.

1. Install Smoke and Carbon monoxide detectors on all levels of the home.

2. Have an exit plan if one of these devices ever detects an issue.

3. Always change your door locks when moving into a new home. You never know who the original homeowner has shared the keys with.

4. Make sure all exterior doors have quality door locks and deadbolts with 3 inch screws. Exterior door frames should be reinforced so they just can’t be kicked in.

5. Do not open the door for strangers. Use your video doorbell or surveillance cameras to see if it is someone you recognize.
