Well-known pop singer Justin Timberlake was arrested in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 18 after he was allegedly driving while drunk on Long Island, according to authorities.

Timberlake, 43, was pulled over by Sag Harbor Village Police while driving southbound on Madison Avenue in his 2025 BMW after officials say he blew through a stop sign and failed to maintain his lane of travel.

A subsequent investigation performed by responding officers resulted in the "SexyBack" singer's arrest for driving while intoxicated after both failing standardized field sobriety tests and refusing to blow into a breathalyzer.

After being held overnight, Timberlake was on his own recognizance Tuesday morning without being required to post bail following his arraignment at Sag Harbor Village Justice Court at 9:30 a.m.

The former singer of the teen pop group NSYNC reportedly pleaded not guilty to the charges.
