Recently, the Nassau County Police Department, Commissioner Patrick Ryder and County Executive Laura Curran hosted the first annual Jo Jo Wright scholarship basketball tournament at the new NCPD Center for Training and Intelligence.
The Bolla Scholarship program, the Nassau Police Foundation and police unions from the SOA, DAI and PBA donated $10,000 to the Uniondale High School Scholarship program in Jo Jo’s memory. Joseph Wright was present to receive the donation on behalf of the school.
