Great River, NY - June 21st, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating a one-vehicle crash that killed a Great River man last evening.
Justin Fonseca, 27, was driving a 2007 Toyota westbound on Sunrise Highway when his vehicle left the roadway, west of the Hospital Road off ramp and crashed into a concrete abutment that supports the Hospital Road overpass at 11:30 p.m.
Fonseca was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
