The First Squad reports the Arrest of a South Carolina man for an Assault that occurred on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 7:40 p.m. in Freeport.
According to detectives, a 24 year-old male victim got into a verbal altercation with defendant Joseph Gambuzza, 42, outside of Tropix, located at 395 Woodcleft Ave. The defendant then kicked the victim in the face and head numerous times, causing multiple injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The defendant was apprehended a short time later without incident.
Joseph Gambuzza is charged with Assault 1st degree. He was previously arraigned.
