NCPD: Two Women Busted for Assaulting Police Officers While Interfering with Arrest at Elmont's UBS Arena

The Nassau Country Police Department reports the arrests of five (5) individuals for incidents that occurred on Friday, June 21, 2024 in Elmont.
 
According to Detectives, Officers responded to UBS Arena located at 2400 Hempstead Turnpike for multiple disturbances. Officers were met by UBS Security Guards attempting to remove patrons from the premise for being disorderly. While officers were escorting Defendant Eduardo Flores Hernandez, 24, of 209 E. 165th Street, Bronx he became non-compliant and was placed into custody. Defendant Dana Morales, 25, of 209 E. 165th Street, Bronx began pushing and attempting to punch officers and Defendant Lisset Flores Hernandez, 26, of 209 E. 165th Street, Bronx struck, bit and punched officers and security while attempting to interfere with the arrest process. 
 
Defendant Eduardo Flores Hernandez is charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd Degree and Criminal Trespassing 3rd Degree. He was released on an Appearance Ticket returnable on Friday, July 5, 2024.
 
Defendant Dana Morales is charged with Criminal Trespassing 3rd Degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Attempted Assault 2nd Degree and Harassment 2nd Degree. She was arraigned on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street Hempstead. 
 
Defendant Lisett Flores Hernandez is charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd Degree, Criminal Trespassing 3rd Degree and Assault 3rd Degree. She was arraigned on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street Hempstead.
 
Additionally on July 21, 2024 at 11:58 PM, Defendants Fernando Velasco, 50, of 345 W 70th Street, New York and Andy Velasquez, 26, of 445 E 141st Street, Bronx while being escorted from the premise both struck a security guard in the face with a closed fist. The security guard refused medical attention at scene. Defendants Fernando Velasco and Andy Velasquez were placed under arrest without further incident. They are charged with Assault 3rd Degree and were issued an Appearance Tickets returnable to First District Court on Friday, July 5, 2024.
