SCPD Officer Saves Man Injured by Forklift By Using Tourniquet

Gabriel Leveille of Westbury, 66, was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment.

A Suffolk County Police Third Precinct officer rescued a man by applying a tourniquet to his leg after the victim was hit with a forklift in Brentwood.
 
Gabriel Leveille was operating a mechanical pallet jack at Broadridge, located at 300 Executive Drive, when he was accidently struck by a forklift.  
 
Third Precinct Officer Kevin Bell responded and applied a tourniquet to Leveille’s right leg. Leveille, 66, of Westbury, was transported by Brentwood Legion Ambulance to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment.
