The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a residential Fire that occurred on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 3:41 pm in East Meadow.
According to detectives, officers responded to a house fire located on Arliegh Road. Upon arrival, officers observed the home fully engulfed in flames.
The East Meadow Fire Department responded to extinguish the flames, assisted by multiple surrounding town fire departments.
There was extensive damage to the house and minor damage to a neighboring home. All occupants were evacuated safely. Three adults and two juveniles were transported to a local area hospital for smoke inhalation. The investigation is ongoing.
