Smithtown, NY - June 30, 2016 - On Sunday, June 26 family and friends of Dr. Stuart P. Seiden came together to honor the late husband, father, grandfather, friend, surgeon and longtime resident of Smithtown.  In Dr. Seiden’s honor, a bench was donated by Nathan Blumberg, M.D., one of his most valued colleagues, as well as Dr. Seiden's family.  Those who knew Dr. Seiden best spoke highly of him before the cutting of the ribbon, which dedicated the bench in its permanent residence on the front patio of the Smithtown Main Building of The Smithtown Library.  Family said that this location was fitting for the surgeon who often found comfort in reading a great book.
