Tragic Plane Crash in Upstate New York Leaves Five Dead, Officials Say

Officials have confirmed that five individuals have passed away following a plane crash in upstate New York early Sunday afternoon.
 
In the village of Sidney, located in Delaware County, a single-engine Piper PA-46 that had departed Oneonta just 20 minutes prior went down in Catskill Park at approximately 2 p.m. on June 30, according to the Federation Aviation Administration (FAA). 
 
The crash resulted in the confirmed deaths of all five people aboard, following an exhaustive search of the entire part and its surrounding areas with all-terrain vehicles.
 
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is currently the lead agency in the investigation into the crash.
 
The identities of the five late victims have yet to be publicly released.
