July 3, 2013 - Rocky Point, NY - The Suffolk County Department of Health Services today lifted the bathing closure it had issued for Tides Beach in Rocky Point. Results of recent samples collected at Tides Beach show the water quality to be within acceptable levels.
Copiague Harbor Beach in Copiague remains closed to bathing due to the finding of bacterial levels in excess of acceptable criteria.
