Nassau Police Report the Arrests of 4 Individuals for Illegal Fireworks Sales
The Eighth Precinct POP Unit (Problem Oriented Policing) reports the arrest of four individuals for the Sale of Illegal Fireworks that occurred on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 9:55 a.m. throughout Nassau County.
According to Police, the Eighth Precinct POP Unit responded to multiple businesses due to various community complaints throughout the jurisdiction of the Eighth Precinct. Today, after a thorough investigation, multiple arrests were made at the following locations:
- INC Convenience Store, of 695 Main Street, South Farmingdale.
- Wittenburg Enterprises Convenience, of 628 Wantagh Avenue, Levittown.
- Rainbow Card Gallery, of 578 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage.
- OK GO Gas Station, of 767 Wantagh Avenue, Levittown.
All of the defendants were charged with Unlawfully Selling Fireworks and issued Appearance Tickets.
