Legislator Anker Celebrates Independence Day with the Village of Shoreham

Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker joined the Village of Shoreham at their annual Independence Day celebration.

Shoreham, NY - July 5, 2016 - On Monday, July 4th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker joined the Village of Shoreham at their annual Independence Day celebration. The holiday began with a parade through the village and included festivities that lasted throughout the day.

“The 4th of July is a time to celebrate our country’s independence, and to thank the men and women in our military who fight every day to protect our freedom. The Village of Shoreham hosts this wonderful celebration that reminds us of how truly fortunate we are to be American citizens,” said Legislator Anker.
