The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a residential fire that occurred on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 5:15 PM in Massapequa.
According to detectives, officers responded to a house fire located on Michigan Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed a portion of the home in flames. The Massapequa Fire Department responded to extinguish the flames, assisted by multiple surrounding fire departments. The Nassau County Fire Marshall also responded.
The fire caused damage to a section of the home. There were no injuries reported at scene.
