New York State Lottery officials confirmed on Thursday, July 6 that a winning third-place Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a Deer Park gas station.
The ticket, whose winning nature was revealed during Wednesday, July 5's drawing, was purchased at Deer Hills Service at 1985 Deer Park Avenue, lottery officials say.
The lucky winner's identity has not been publicly revealed.
