Copiague, NY - July 9, 2018 - Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives arrested a Copiague man for forcibly touching a woman and public lewdness on Saturday, July 7, 2018.
 
Ramel Giggetts inappropriately touched a 69-year-old woman inside of Target, located at 1149 Sunrise Highway, Copiague, on July 6 at approximately 8:45 a.m. A short time later he exposed himself to the woman.
 
Following an investigation by First Squad detectives, Giggetts, 31, Copiague, was arrested and charged with Forcible Touching and Public Lewdness.
 
Giggetts was held overnight at the First Precinct and was arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on July 8.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
