NCPD Crime Alert: Franklin Square Chase Bank Robbed
Franklin Square, NY - July 10th, 2014 - The Robbery Squad reports the details of a Bank Robbery which occurred on Wednesday, July 09, 2014 at 3:15 P.M. in Franklin Square.
According to detectives, a male black, 6’ tall, mid 30’s, 200 lbs. with a medium build wearing a white baseball cap, white shirt, blue/white plaid pajama pants, black converse “All Star” sneakers, black wrap around glasses and a mask entered the J.P. Morgan Chase bank located at 925 Hempstead Turnpike, approached a teller and produced a demand note. The teller complied giving the suspect an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect was last seen on foot fleeing southwest through a rear parking lot towards Sobo Avenue. There were 7 employees and 2 customers in the bank at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.
