Kings Park, NY - July 10th, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a one-vehicle crash that killed a Kings Park woman yesterday.
Anna Devecchis, 49, was driving a 2013 Nissan Rogue westbound on Route 25A in Kings Park when her vehicle veered off the roadway, striking a tree at approximately 6:20 p.m.
Devecchis was transported via Suffolk County Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
