One fortunate feline. On Friday evening, someone called 911 to report that a kitten had fallen into a storm drain in Terryville. Officer Michael Viruet from the Suffolk County Police Emergency Services climbed into the drain and rescued the little cat.

According to a police report, the kitten was adopted by a local resident once removed from the drain.
