TRAVEL ADVISORY: Overnight Closures on the Northbound Meadowbrook State Parkway in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that the northbound Meadowbrook State Parkway will be closed at Exit M6E (Southern State Parkway) in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County on Monday, July 15, and Monday, July 22, beginning at 10 p.m. until 5 am the following morning, weather permitting, to facilitate bridge maintenance. 

The Exit 22N ramp from eastbound Southern State Parkway to northbound Meadowbrook State Parkway will also be closed during those times.  

Vehicles will be detoured onto the eastbound Southern State Parkway to Exit 24N for Merrick Avenue northbound to westbound Southern State Parkway, to Exit 22N for northbound Meadowbrook State Parkway.
