Valley Stream, NY - July 15th, 2015 - The Major Case Bureau is investigating a robbery that occurred in Valley Stream on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 12:40 P.M.
According to detectives, a male subject armed with a large kitchen knife, entered Select Beauty Supply store located at 297 N. Central Ave., opened the cash register and removed money from the drawer. The subject took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot eastbound on Fritchie Place. There were two employees and one customer in the store at the time of the robbery.
No injuries were reported.
The subject is described as a male black, 6’2” tall, thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black mask.
