The First Squad reports the details of a Vehicular Accident that occurred on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 4:00 pm in Roosevelt.
According to Detectives, a 34-year-old male operating a 2021 Honda Accord was traveling westbound on Thoma Place where he struck a male juvenile, 11, attempting to cross the street. The male juvenile suffered a leg injury and was transported via Nassau County Police Helicopter to Cohen Children’s Medical Center for evaluation and treatment of his injuries.
The driver remained at scene. No criminality is suspected at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
