CANCELLED - Authorities Issue Missings Persons Alert for Hempstead Juvenile

UPDATE - September 27, 2017 - Police report that Joselyn Vasquez has been located.

Suffolk County, NY - July 20, 2017 - The Missing Persons Squad reports the details of a missing juvenile that occurred on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at 3:00 pm in Hempstead.
 
According to Detectives, Joselyn Vasquez, 14, a female Hispanic, 5’1” tall, 100lbs., brown eyes and black hair, was last seen at her residence in Hempstead. She was wearing a black short sleeve shirt and black leggings.  Her destination is unknown. 
 
NOTE: Joselyn Vasquez has been reported missing and subsequently found by authorities on June 2, 2016; July 7, 2017; and July 18, 2017.
 
Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above missing juvenile to contact the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad at (516) 573-7347 or to call 911.  All callers will remain anonymous.
