Rocky Point, NY - July 22, 2014 - On Saturday, July 19th the Rocky Point Civic Association to kick off the civic’s First Annual Garden Tour. Members  of the community stopped by Sweets of the Spoon to receive a map for the self-guided tour which showcased nine beautifully landscaped homes in Rocky Point. 
 
“I would like to thank the volunteers for dedicating their time and for inviting residents to enjoy their gardens,” said Legislator Anker. “I wish the Rocky Point Civic Association much continued success with the event and I look forward to participating next year.” 
 
In addition to touring residents’ gardens, the day’s events also included lunch at Sweets of the Spoon and a tour of the Noah Hallock Historical House. For more information about the Rocky Point Civic, visit rockypointcivic.org.
