NCPD Seeking Suspect Who Set Passenger Trolley on Fire at UBS Arena in Elmont

The Fifth Squad reports the details of a Grand Larceny that occurred on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 9:00 pm in Elmont.
 
According to Detectives, Officers responded to Gate 5 at the UBS Arena located at 2150 Hempstead Turnpike for a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, Officers discovered a green UBS arena passenger trolley fully engulfed in flames. 
 
During the investigation, it was determined that an unknown suspect gained entry to the trolley and began to operate it throughout the parking lot. After a collision with a parked vehicle, the trolley continued driving onto Hempstead Turnpike where the subject exited the vehicle and fled scene. Shortly after the collision the trolley was discovered fully engulfed in flames.
