NCPD Make Two Arrests for Promoting Prisoner Contraband

Levittown, NY - July 29, 2015 - The District Attorney Squad reports the arrest of two individuals from Levittown for Promoting Prisoner Contraband that occurred on Wednesday, July 28, 2015 at 9:40 a.m. in East Meadow.

According to detectives, on June 30, 2015 a Nassau County Correction Officer discovered (2) two Fentanyl patches secreted in a greeting card addressed to inmate/defendant Kyle J. Whitenack, 28, and a second greeting card containing (1) Fentanyl patch addressed to a second inmate. An investigation was conducted by the District Attorney Squad, along with Correctional Investigators which revealed that Jessie M. Radice, 28, was directed by Whitenack to mail the contraband to him in the jail. Radice was located in East Meadow on Wednesday, July 28, 2015 at 9:40 a.m. and placed under arrest.

Whitenack is charged with Promoting Prisoner Contraband 1st degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at First District Court

Radice is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Promoting Prisoner Contraband 1st degree. She was arraigned on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
