Gun-Packing Trio Accused of Punching, Choking, and Throwing Bowling Balls at Baldwin Security Guard

The First Squad reports the arrest of three individuals for a Robbery that occurred on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 1:23 a.m. in Baldwin.
 
According to Detectives, Officers responded to a call at Ultra Lanes, located at 2407 Grand Avenue, for an Assault. Upon arrival, Officers discovered that a security guard of the establishment was the victim of an assault. Further investigation revealed that the defendants: Davian Campbell, 26, of 3615 Bertha Drive, Baldwin, Danny Daniels, 26, 1425 E. 94th Street, Brooklyn and Ariel Sariah Gangadeen, 25, of 668 E 85th Street, Brooklyn were being disruptive and refused to leave, they began punching, kicking, choking, and throwing bowling balls at the victim. They also stole the victim’s phone and fled the scene in a white BMW. 
 
First Squad Detectives, in conjunction with First Precinct officers and the NYPD, were able to locate the defendants and place them under arrest without incident. Officers recovered a loaded firearm from the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
 
All defendants were charged with Robbery 2nd Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree: Loaded Firearm. Defendant Daniels is also charged Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree: Previous Conviction. Defendant Gangadeen is also charged with Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree, and Reckless Driving. They will all be arraigned on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
