Glen Cove, NY - August 3, 2017 - The Homicide Squad is investigating an Accidental Shooting that occurred on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 8:02 pm in Glen Cove.
According to detectives, three (3) juveniles were playing with a loaded handgun, (owned by a Nassau County licensed pistol holder), inside a Williams Street home, when one of the male juveniles fired one shot striking himself.
The 15 year old male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by a Nassau County Police Department Police Medic.
This investigation is ongoing.
