Riverhead, NY - August 5th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Riverhead Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person who stole an envelope that contained cash from a store in Riverhead.
A person who was shopping at Walmart, located at 1890 Old Country Road, left an envelope that contained cash on a desk in the store on July 17. A woman stole the envelope and fled the store at approximately 5:50 p.m. The suspect is described as black, approximately 50-years-old with short hair. She was wearing a light pink shirt, blue pants and pink shoes.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
