Hicksville Fire Department Combats Local Residential Blaze; Home Suffers "Extensive Damage"
The Public Information Office reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 5:50 p.m. in Hicksville.
According to Detectives, Officers arrived at 214 Spindle Road and observed a house on fire with all of the occupants safely outside of the home. The Hicksville Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire. The home sustained extensive damage, but no injuries were reported. Four people were displaced due to the damage.
The Nassau County Fire Marshall and the Arson Bomb Squad were on scene to investigate. The fire appears to be accidental.
