Forest Hills, NY - August 6th, 2014 - MTA Long Island Rail Road will provide extra train service to Forest Hills Station in Queens for two upcoming concerts: Indie rock bands Modest Mouse and Brand New on Saturday, August 9 and Grammy Award-winning rappers Drake and Lil Wayne on Tuesday, August 19.
The LIRR’s Forest Hills Station is located just a short distance from Forest Hills Stadium, once among the city’s most popular concert venues. Recently refurbished, it is once featuring top acts.
Extra Service to Forest Hills Station
Modest Mouse/Brand New Concert – Saturday, August 9
For the Modest Mouse/Brand New concert on Saturday, August 9, all eastbound and westbound trains will stop at Forest Hills between 3 and 6:30 PM and again from 9:30 p.m. til 12:30 AM.
Drake vs. Lil Wayne – Tuesday, August 19
For the Drake vs. Lil Wayne affair on Tuesday, August 19, extra trains will be stopping at Forest Hills Station between 2:30 and 7 PM and again between 8:30 and 11:30 PM.
