On Tuesday, August 10, the Lauren Kristy Paddleboat will be taking a sunset dinner cruise out of the Bay Shore Marina to Atlantique Beach. The second dinner cruise of the season for the Lauren Kristy, the first trip was a success, according to a press release by the Town of Islip.
The Lauren Kristy Dinner Cruise on the Great South Bay is presented by the Town of Islip’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs.
The itinerary includes a buffet dinner with a complimentary drink, desserts, coffee or tea, on board DJ, dancing and and a sunset as guests cruise to Fire Island. The Lauren Kristy is a turn-of-the-century river boat that sails during the summer, departing from the Bay Shore Marina.

“After a yearlong hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are especially grateful to bring residents together again for a memorable night on the water,” said Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter. “There is something so special about spending time with family and friends while taking in a beautiful sunset.”
